PM Modi to Inaugurate Raisina Dialogue on March 17; New Zealand PM to arrive India

New Delhi, March 16 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 10th edition of the Raisina Dialogue on March 17, with New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon attending as the chief guest and delivering the keynote address.

The 2025 edition of India’s premier conference on geopolitics and geo-economics will be centered around the theme “Kalachakra – People, Peace, and Planet”, focusing on critical global challenges.

More than 3,500 participants from approximately 125 countries, including ministers, former heads of state, military commanders, business leaders, technology pioneers, academics, journalists, and strategic affairs experts, will engage in discussions over three days. The conference will explore six thematic pillars:

  • Politics Interrupted: Shifting Sands and Rising Tides
  • Resolving the Green Trilemma: Who, Where, & How
  • Digital Planet: Agents, Agencies, and Absences
  • Militant Mercantilism: Trade, Supply Chains & the Exchange Rate Addiction
  • The Tiger’s Tale: Rewriting Development with a New Plan
  • Investing in Peace: Drivers, Institutions, & Leadership

The Observer Research Foundation (ORF), in collaboration with India’s Ministry of External Affairs, organizes the event. According to ORF, “Every year, leaders in politics, business, media, and civil society converge in New Delhi to discuss the state of the world and explore opportunities for cooperation on a wide range of contemporary matters.”

Emphasizing its multi-stakeholder and cross-sectoral nature, ORF stated, “The Dialogue is structured as a platform where heads of state, cabinet ministers, local government officials, and thought leaders from the private sector, media, and academia engage in meaningful discussions.”

The event will be accessible to millions worldwide via digital platforms, expanding its global impact beyond in-person attendees.
