Donald Trump has assured that his administration will comply with court rulings, despite top aides previously dismissing judicial decisions amid mounting legal challenges to his immigration and federal workforce policies.
In an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham on Tuesday, the former president insisted his team would not defy judicial orders, even as courts nationwide continue blocking key initiatives, including deportations under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. However, Trump criticized the judiciary, claiming that “very bad judges” were issuing rulings that unfairly restricted his authority. “They shouldn’t be allowed” to interfere, he argued.
Earlier that day, Trump had called for the impeachment of District Court Judge James Boasberg after he ruled against deporting alleged Venezuelan gang members. His remarks prompted a rare rebuke from Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts.

The administration suffered additional legal blows on Tuesday, including a federal ruling against Elon Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which sought to dismantle the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The court deemed the move unconstitutional.
