Partial Eclipse Casts Shadow Over UK and BeyondPartial Eclipse Casts Shadow Over UK and Beyond

On Saturday, a partial solar eclipse obscured part of the Sun, dimming skies over several regions across the world. The celestial event was visible in North America, Europe, Africa, northern Asia, and parts of South America, with the entire UK getting a glimpse of the phenomenon.

According to NASA, this eclipse was “not total anywhere in the world.” However, northeastern Canada experienced the most dramatic effect, with up to 92% of the Sun covered.

Skywatchers across different continents marveled at the rare sight as the Moon briefly passed in front of the Sun, creating a striking partial eclipse.
