The Spice Girls might be gearing up for a long-awaited reunion! Geri Horner, also known as Ginger Spice, has hinted that something is in the works for the iconic girl group.
The last time all five members performed together was at the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony. In 2019, they reunited for a tour, but Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) was absent. Now, Geri has revealed in a recent interview that a full reunion could finally happen.
Geri Horner Confirms a Spice Girls Project is Coming
While promoting her upcoming children’s book Rosie Frost: Ice on Fire, Geri told the Sunday Times: “There will be something.”
She emphasized the importance of reuniting as a full group, saying: “My hope is we come back together as a collective. It’s more respectful to come as one. We’ll come as one.”
Speculation about a rift among the members has been circulating for some time, but Geri confirmed that they all remain in touch: “We’re chatting together in a group chat.”

Past Reunion Plans and Reported Tensions
In recent years, there have been rumors about potential projects, including a stage performance and even a drama series featuring the Spice Girls as themselves. However, Geri reportedly withdrew from both, which some believe created tension within the group.
The Geri-Mel B Feud?
Geri is married to Christian Horner, the Red Bull Racing Formula One team boss, who was recently cleared of misconduct allegations following an internal investigation. Reports suggest that Mel B (Scary Spice) made subtle jabs at Geri for standing by her husband, adding to the rumored friction.
The Spice Girls’ Legacy
The Spice Girls skyrocketed to fame in 1996, becoming the best-selling girl group of all time with over 100 million records sold. The group—Mel B (Scary Spice), Geri Horner (Ginger Spice), Mel C (Sporty Spice), Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice)—dominated the charts with hits like Wannabe, Say You’ll Be There, and 2 Become 1.

Now, with Geri’s latest comments, fans are eagerly awaiting what’s next for the legendary pop group.
