Lamborghini Hits Pedestrians in Noida

Noida: A red Lamborghini struck two pedestrians on a footpath near an under-construction complex in Sector 94 this evening.

A video from the scene captured the red sports car on the footpath as workers in safety helmets and orange jackets rushed towards it. One of them confronted the driver, asking, “Stunt zyaada seekh liyo ho?” (Have you learnt a lot of stunts?) and “Do you know how many people have died here?” The driver casually responded, “Koi mar gaya hai idhar?” (Did anyone die here?).

Driver’s Response Shocks Onlookers

As the driver stepped out of the Lamborghini, the man recording the video was heard urging, “Call the cops, call the cops,” while the driver defended himself, saying, “I gently pressed the accelerator.” The bystander retorted, “Did you press it gently?”

The Puducherry-registered Lamborghini had crashed into a tree, with its front facing the opposite side of the road.

Police have taken the driver into custody and seized the vehicle.
