Gauahar Khan on Postpartum Weight Loss: “I Don’t Have Expensive Trainers or Diets”
Gauahar Khan, who is currently expecting her second child, recently opened up about her widely discussed postpartum transformation after her first pregnancy. Appearing on Red FM Podcasts, she addressed the criticism she faced for sharing her weight loss journey publicly, with some accusing her of setting unrealistic standards for other women.
“People said, ‘Why are you showing that you’ve lost weight? Think about other women who can’t do it…’” Gauahar shared, revealing how some believed she had access to elite trainers and tailored diets. However, she firmly debunked that myth:
“No, I don’t have any expensive gym trainers, I don’t have any diets being given to me.”
Instead, Gauahar credited self-research, discipline, and consistency for her transformation.
“Aapko apne khud ke liye apna muh zip karna hai, aapko sahi apna research karna hai jo ke maine kiya,” she said, emphasizing that fitness is deeply personal and achievable without extravagant resources.
Her message encourages new mothers to focus on what works best for their own bodies and not fall into the trap of comparison. It’s a powerful reminder that real transformations come from patience and persistence—not privilege.
