Prayagraj: Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif seeks blessings of spiritual head of Parmarth Niketan Ashram Swami Chidanand Saraswati during the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, in Prayagraj, Monday, Feb. 24, 2025

Actor Katrina Kaif arrived in Prayagraj on Monday to take part in the MahaKumbh Mela 2025. She was accompanied by her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal, mother of actor Vicky Kaushal. Several pictures and videos from their visit have surfaced online.

During her visit, Katrina met Swami Chidanand Saraswati, president of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati to seek their blessings.

For the occasion, Katrina chose a simple ethnic outfit paired with black sunglasses, while Veena wore a blue suit. The duo engaged in deep conversations with the spiritual leaders.

Speaking about her experience, Katrina told ANI, “I am very fortunate that I could come here this time. I am really happy and grateful. I met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and took his blessings. I am just starting my experience here. I like the energy, beauty, and significance of everything. I am looking forward to spending the whole day here.”

Vicky Kaushal’s Visit to MahaKumbh

Earlier this month, Katrina’s husband, Vicky Kaushal, also visited MahaKumbh, just days before the release of his latest film, Chhaava. As per early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, Chhaava has collected ₹316.18 crore net in India and is on track to cross the ₹400 crore mark.

Akshay Kumar at Triveni Sangam

Apart from Katrina, Akshay Kumar also participated in the MahaKumbh earlier in the day and took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam.

Expressing his appreciation, he praised CM Yogi Adityanath, stating, “I thank CM Yogi ji for making such good arrangements here… The facilities are excellent, and everything is so well-managed. I want to thank all the officials and security personnel for taking care of everyone here. They have ensured the safety and comfort of all the devotees.”
