In a shocking incident near Ludhiana, NRI Rupinder Kaur was allegedly murdered by Sukhjit Singh, at the behest of Charanjit Singh, residing in UK. Rupinder was killed to prevent her from filing a case against Charanjit after he backed out of marriage. Sukhjit allegedly bludgeoned her, burnt the body, and disposed of the remains in a canal.
