Former Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick and model-actress Amy Jackson have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Oscar Alexander Westwick.
The couple announced the news on Monday evening with a joint Instagram post featuring three black-and-white photos capturing their first moments with their newborn. “Welcome to the world, baby boy. Oscar Alexander Westwick,” the caption read.
Fans and Celebrities Shower the Couple With Love
Following the announcement, the couple received an outpouring of love from fans and industry colleagues. “Congratulations, guys! I wish you all the best. You are a great family,” one comment read, while another fan wrote, “Aww, congratulations to you both! Beautiful little boy—enjoy.” Many others flooded the post with heart emojis.
The pictures featured Amy gently kissing baby Oscar on the forehead, a close-up of Ed holding his tiny hand, and a candid moment of Ed kissing Amy’s cheek as they cradled their son. One of the images also showed Oscar wrapped in a personalized monogrammed blanket with his name embroidered on it.
A Growing Family
Ed and Amy began dating in 2022 and tied the knot in August 2024. Oscar is their first child together. Amy also has a five-year-old son from her previous relationship with hotelier George Panayiotou, whom she dated from 2015 to 2021.
Amy made her acting debut in the Tamil film Madrasapattinam (2010) before transitioning to Bollywood with Ekk Deewana Tha in 2012. She has since appeared in films such as Singh is Bliing, Freaky Ali, 2.0, and Theri. Her most recent role was in Crakk alongside Vidyut Jamwal and Arjun Rampal.
Ed Westwick, who began his acting career with Children of Men (2006), gained international fame for his role as Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl (2007-2012).
