NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 mission has successfully reached the International Space Station (ISS), carrying four astronauts on a crucial mission. The crew includes NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Takuya Onishi, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov.
Their mission is especially significant as they are set to bring home NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, who have been stranded in space since June last year.
The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft launched aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 7:03 PM ET on Friday (4:33 AM IST). After a smooth journey, it docked with the ISS at 10 AM, marking a critical step in the mission’s success.
NASA and SpaceX are closely monitoring the operation as Williams and Wilmore prepare for their long-awaited return to Earth.
