Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a strong warning against corruption, declaring that any government official caught engaging in corrupt practices will be the last in their family to hold a government job. Speaking at a government program in Devipatan Mandal on Thursday, the CM reinforced his administration’s zero-tolerance policy towards corruption.
“Whoever is found guilty of corruption, this will be the last job of their family,” he stated, sending a clear message to dishonest officials and employees.
Addressing young entrepreneurs, Adityanath urged them to report any instances of corruption directly to the government. “If anyone engages in dishonesty, report them to me. The government operates with a zero-tolerance policy against crime, criminals, corruption, and corrupt individuals.”
He also cautioned against middlemen demanding bribes for financial assistance, including loans. “If someone asks for money in the name of securing a loan, do not trust them. Visit the state government portal and file a complaint. We will investigate and hold them accountable.”
Reiterating his firm stance, the CM emphasized: “Remember, if someone demands money unlawfully, that will be their family’s last chance at government service. No one from that family will ever get another opportunity. We will take strict action to set an example.”
Adityanath also highlighted the transformation in female representation in the Uttar Pradesh Police Force since 2017. “When I first took charge, there were only 10,000 women in the police force. We decided that at least 20% of all new recruits would be women. A significant number of girls have now been selected in the latest police recruitment exam.”
